Tressler Memorial / Mt. Zion

Come out and join our new ministry, “Dinner with Friends”.  Once a month (on a Friday evening), we’ll meet at a local restaurant to have fellowship together.  Our first gathering will be on October 16th at 5:00 PM at The Local Table in Loysville.  Reservations are required, so please let Lori Stambaugh know by ASAP if you plan to attend.  If you have any questions, please see Pastor Brian or Lori. 

Please join our Parish at 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 18th as we celebrate Pastor B and Lori for a Pastor Appreciation luncheon.  We are grateful for their dedication to our congregations and we look forward to celebrating YOU!  Meat will be provided, you are asked to bring a side dish.

Tressler Memorial Free Lutheran Church’s Ladies Aid is hosting our 4th Annual Fellowship & Food Trucks event.

We will have (8) food vendors (Diesel & Dough, Ickesburg Fire Co., Landisburg Lions Club, Little Mexico Tacos, Paulus’ Ice Cream Filled Donuts, Redneck Dogs, The Pretzel Kitchen, The Social Cup) set up in our church parking lot, as well local emergency personnel departments, music provided by SoundBerrier Entertainment, face painting, Huckleberry Trails Animal Sanctuary, Keifer’s Animals, Meet “Walter The Friendly Kunekune Pig”, PA State Representative Perry Stambaugh – 86th Legislative District, Neff’s Produce will be providing pumpkins for kids to decorate, Local Author & Historian Linda Martin-Gilmore, gift basket raffles and small giveaways.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON A DAY FULL OF FELLOWSHIP AND FOOD!!

Trunk or Treat will be held in Tressler's parking lot on Saturday, October 31st from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.  This is held in conjunction with the Loysville Community Club.  Lots of candy is available, along with cookies, hot chocolate and good fellowship.  We hope to see you there!

Breakfast: All are invited to the annual fall fundraiser "All You Can Eat" breakfast, sponsored by Mt. Zion Friendship Circle, coming up on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The kitchen will be open from 8 AM until 10:30 AM. Cost is $7.00 a person, Veterans and 5 and under are free. Tickets for several raffles will be available for purchase! Thank you for your support.

Our church members would like to thank our Pastor and his wife, Pastor Brian and Lori, for faithfully serving our congregations.  We appreciate the time and effort you put into both the churches.  Here's to you in October, Pastor Appreciation Month.  Mt. Zion and Tressler both thank you and appreciate you.  

Bible Study with Pastor Brian Stambaugh is offered at Tressler Memorial on Wednesdays, starting at 6:30 PM.  Take a journey with us as we discover and discuss God's word.  Join us and bring a friend!

WEDNESDAYS AT 6:30 PM in the Narthex.   

Quilting Group meets every Monday at 9:00 in the Mt. Zion Social Hall.  Quilts are made and given to local charities to distribute to people in need.  Be sure to stop by and check out the beautiful handiwork that is done on a weekly basis.  All are welcome to attend.
